Everyone is welcome to train regardless of rank or experience. Visitors are welcome to watch if they wish.
Please note that the class schedule and Instructors are subject to change. We work to create substantive training opportunities for everyone. The class instructor schedule is updated weekly as circumstance requires. If there is a specific instructor you wish to see, check with us before you come. Senior Instructor Focus
TUESDAY – General
Steve Fasen Sensei – Chief Instructor -Senior Instructor -6th Dan/Ueshiba Juku
The focus is on Yudansha level unification principles, Connection, Aiki, weapons handling & integration into the Aiki Body, along with ASU Weapons Kata.

Dimitri Deglas Sensei – General 2nd class: 11:00-Noon / Daito Ryu Aiki jujitsu
This Aiki class will be evolving to articulate, through movement, the mechanical and internal foundations of Aikido. Dimitri Sensei brings unique perspectives after years of study with Daito Ryu Ginjukai under Okamoto Seigo Sensei.

Class Descriptions
Beginners (Mudansha level) Classes
Introduction to Aikido training procedures, Budo principles, and the dojo standards/etiquette. Emphasis is on Ukemi and mechanics using standard ASU techniques. If you have never trained Aikido or any martial art before, this is a place to begin, but you are not limited to these classes.
These classes are ideal for newer students.
General Class
Open to all levels / (principle) articulation through waza (technique). Up to yudansha level.
Yudansha and Instructor-level Classes
Everyone is welcome to participate, but the training vocabulary and concepts are presented focused on higher ranked, more experienced Aikidoka.
Buki Waza / Weapons Classes
Weapons study and integration of weapons principles as they relate to movement in ASU kata, Aiki and empty hand training. Depending on the distribution of the participants, Fasen Sensei will teach to the most experienced person on the floor.
