Everyone is welcome to train in any class, regardless of rank or experience. Visitors without Aikido experience are welcome to watch. You may note the following designations and class descriptions:

  • Beginners Class – Introduction to Aikido training procedures, Budo principles, and the dojo standards/etiquette. Emphasis is on Ukemi and techniques through standard ASU 5th kyu waza. If you have never trained Aikido or any martial art before, this is a place to begin, but you are not limited to these classes. The focus in these classes however, is on new students.
  • General Class – Open to all levels / (principle) articulation through waza (technique).
  • Buki Waza –  weapons study, and interpretation of weapons principles as they relate to movement in ASU Aiki and empty hand training.

We look forward to training with you.
